ROSES CARE

Wholesale rosesFloral International and Wholesale-Flowers.net. Colombian wholesalers can offer you the highest quality fresh cut roses in the world. We guarantee that the flowers we supply to you, directly from our farms in Colombia and Ecuador, enjoy a long shelf-life! Follow this advice to insure that your fresh cut flowers will live longer, and your customers will keep returning for these amazing Colombian and Ecuadorian jewels. Also, be sure to share these tips with your customers so they, too, can appreciate the roses for a longer period of time.

Bullet Wholesaler

Bullet As soon as you receive the flowers, unpack the roses, remove the lower leaves and thorns carefully. Make sure you don't injure the bark.
Bullet Place the stems under water. Recut the stems with a sharp, clean knife or shears.
Bullet Place the roses in 105 - 110 degree F (40 - 43 degree C) water. Adjust the pH to 3.0 with citric acid. Keep the roses in the mixture until they are crisp (30 - 60 minutes).
Bullet Take the roses out of the water and transfer them into a bucket or vase with floral preservative and chill.

Bullet Floral Foam

Bullet Don't put the roses in the foam unless they are totally hydrated.
Bullet Soak the foam in a floral preservative instead of plain water. This will help the bouquet last longer!

BULK ROSES FROM COLOMBIA

Bullet Delivery

Bullet If roses are to be delivered in a box (without water), place the stems in vials of preservative solution (or in foam that has been soaked in preservative solution). Otherwise, it's best to have roses delivered in a preservative solution in the vase itself.
Bullet If the roses need to be delivered dry, make sure they were hydrated completely and include a care sheet for your customers. Suggest the roses be placed in warm water (105 degree F/40 degree C)for 30 minutes before arranging in a floral preservative.

Bullet Consumer Care

Bullet Carefully remove the lower leaves and thorns. Try not to damage the stems.
Bullet Recut the stems with a sharp, clean knife or pruning shears.
Bullet Place roses in clean, warm water (105 degrees F/40 degrees C) with floral preservative.
Bullet Avoid placing the flowers in an area where they might receive excess heat or other extreme conditions. This will help them last longer.
